Dreaming in 3D - Television's Latest Breakthrough Technology!

!±8± Dreaming in 3D - Television's Latest Breakthrough Technology!

3D televisions are no longer a myth or a dream. They are a reality and are now available to the public. While sitting in the comfort of your own home wearing 3D glasses or goggles may seem a bit unusual, the experience these TVs give are out of sight! You can almost guarantee yourself neighborhood star status with the purchase of one of these TVs.

The big players in the television production business are all getting involved in the 3D market. Reviews are sparse however so I have done the work for you and will spotlight some of the best on the market.  As of now, 3D programming is very sparse, but test runs continue to occur especially in the realm of sporting events. As with all new technology, expect to spend some money as they aren't cheap. They are, however, really cool!

Samsung continues to be a leader in television technology. The Samsung C8000 series offers stunning full HD 3D, Internet TV, Skype TV and more, all in an ultra slim package. Samsung's innovative Pinpoint Dimming system allows for the darkest of darks and brightest lights leading to dazzling dynamic contrast. It is a top pick in most any list of reviews! I own a Samsung LED TV and the picture and reliability has been great. Their 3D sets are seemingly also going to be some of the best and will likely stay at the top of most lists. It would be hard to go wrong with any of their products in my opinion.

Panasonic has also thrown themselves head first into the 3D market and they have come up with a big winner! The Panasonic VT25 series comes Skype enabled and is full HD 3D. Reviews marvel at the 2D picture on this set as well. Internet TV options such as Pandora, Amazon Video on Demand and others are also included. Ultra sleek and visually appealing, this set will astound you! Panasonic's reputation has always been a good one and this line of sets and their jump into 3D should keep that train rolling along.

LG is known for their high-end TVs and they do not disappoint with their LX series. The LG 55LX9500 comes in a bundle pack and includes the LG 55LX9500 TV, LG AG-S100 3D Active Shutter Glasses and the Xtreme 5 piece Hi-Def TV Hook Up Kit. It provides several exclusive features that LG has perfected to give a design that stands out among other big screen 3D TVs. LG is a relative newcomer to the television market, but I have seen their sets in action and was quite impressed.

Sony's Bravia line comes in multiple sizes and offers several of Sony's most technologically advanced features including the MotionFlow PRO 240Hz technology, full HD 3D and the Bravia Engine 3 fully digital processor. The XBR-60LX900 is Sony's 60 inch, high-end entry into the 3D TV wars. These features lead to some of the smoothest most fluid pictures seen on the current first generation 3D Televisions. Sony's reputation needs no help and I found no significant negatives to report on their foray into 3D.

The choice now is now huge and the prices can be quite high. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these. They cost a premium but you are getting in on the ground floor of new technology. Imagine your favorite movies or sporting events in full HD 3D. The future looks bright. Be the envy of your family and friends with true HD 3D in the comfort of your own home. It leaves you wondering...What next?
